My Office

My constituency office will close on Thursday 23 December at 5pm. My office team return at 9am on Wednesday 5th January. Please note: like now, myself and my office team will be working remotely at the start of January. Although my physical office may be closed, we will be still able to assist by phone, email or video call.

 

Housing

If you rent from a Housing Association, you can still contact them for an emergency – such as a leak, storm damage, TV Aerial faults or boiler breakdown.

• Maryhill Housing: Re-opens 9am on Thursday 6th January. Emergency contact number 0141 946 2466. The Neighbourhood Team staff based at Glenavon Road will continue working throughout the Christmas and New Year period. • Cadder Housing Association - Re-opens 9am on Thursday 6th January. For emergency repairs call City Building on 0800 595 595 or for gas repairs call Gas Sure on 01294 468 113. For all other enquries call 0141 945 3282 and leave a message.
• Queens Cross Housing Association - Re-opens 9am on Wednesday 5th January. For emergency issues call 0808 143 2002 - rent payments can still be made over the festive period by phone.

 

Glasgow City Council

• Scottish Welfare Fund - Scottish Welfare Fund telephone service will close at 4pm Friday 24 December 2021 and reopen Wednesday 5 January 2022. Online applications for the Scottish Welfare Fund can be made at https://www.glasgow.gov.uk/index.aspx?articleid=17160
• Social Work – closed on public holidays (Monday 27, Tuesday 28 December and Monday 3, Tuesday 4 January). If you need to contact social work outside office hours then an emergency social work service is available from Glasgow and Partners Emergency Social Work Service on 0300 343 1505.
• Homeless Team - An out-of-hours homelessness service will be available during the festive period and can be contacted on 0800 838 502.

 

Health Services

Health services will still be running over the festive period. However, some front line servies will be closed. If you need medical support visit www.nhsinform.scot or call NHS 24 on 111.
