Foodbanks can provide emergency food for a few days. If you are struggling, there are a number of people who can help:-

  • Citizens Advice can carry out a Welfare Check to make sure you have the right benefits - call 0800 028 1456
  • If you rent from a housing association, they can usually refer you to a Welfare Rights advisor - see www.bob-doris.scot/housing for contact numbers.
  • Turn2Us can give advice and support online at www.turn2us.org.uk - this includes an online benefits check
  • GEMAP can give money and financial advice - call 0141 773 5850
